KSAMB: Listening Bodies

In this two-part series, KSAMB Dance company and the Saskatoon Experimental Music Ensemble explore composition and perception in a performance laboratory, where the only score is listening. Together, musicians and dancers attempt to track the unfolding movement of sound and bodies. They are curious about how both artists and audiences understand experimental music and dance, separately or simultaneously, both as creators and receivers.

The sessions are open to visitors and participants who are encouraged to choose how and where they listen and watch: close, very close, far, further, sitting, standing, laying down, etc. They may choose to move. No registration is required.
